Who doesn’t love an extravaganza? That’s what we thought. So at CHA (the Craft and Hobby Association trade show) in January, F+W Media hosted a Jewelry Extravaganza in our booth. Margot Potter and Fernando Dasilva hosted and judged the entries; Beadalon, Blue Moon Beads and Swarovski Crystallized provided the materials and prizes; and attendees of the show got to be the contestants. Each contestant had 30 minutes to make the most fabulous piece of jewelry they could using the given supplies. At stake was a really fabulous prize package, including a sparkly Modern Expressions t-shirt from Mr. Dasilva and even more wonderful beading supplies.
