Back in November 2011, Melanie talked to me about her experiences after being diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2011. Since then, she’s become an advocate for women who choose to forgo reconstruction or prostheses, and in this conversation, she talks about her own decision. She also talks about her Breast Pocket Project, which is going on right now–and she’d love to have more submissions: she wants to reach 1000 pockets by the end of the month.
