Ding Dong the Witch is Dead Polymer Clay Video Tutorial

A guest post by Ilysa Ginsburg

Halloween is my favorite holiday of all, I love being able to dress up and make fun accessories to wear with any costume. I have used polymer clay to make masks, crowns, wands and more but this year I thought it would be fun to make some jewelry to wear. I know that this sounds crazy but the witch from the original Wizard of Oz still spooks me all these years later, for those who don’t know her she was an actress who used to do Palmolive commercials back in the day. I think she is super scary and makes the perfect witch.

The story is that Dorothy’s house lands on the wicked witch so I thought it would be fun to interpret that with polymer clay. I had these inexpensive clear stamps I had purchased for a dollar and they were perfect for this project but don’t feel like you have to have the exact same stamps, play around with it and see what you come up with.  I take you through the steps in this fun video to create a unique spooky necklace. Lets scare up some fun easy to make jewelry this Halloween. Enjoy!
